This iPad will be replacing the current 6th Gen iPad but with a more affordable price. It will have an even bigger display at 10.7 inches and comes standard with a retina display. It will be packing a new a10 fusion chip so that the iPad is twice as fast. Some new features about the iPad are the 8-megapixel camera. It can capture very sharp looking images and smooth 1080p video. The battery life on this iPad is amazing it can work up to 10 hours on a full charge. However at first glance, the iPad seems affordable with its $329 sticker price, but the costs start to add up when you throw in accessories that some will deem must-haves. For example, if you were to buy the base-model Wi-Fi iPad and then tack on the iPad Smart Cover and Apple Pencil, that would bring the total to $467. Want to add a Bluetooth keyboard? Now you’re up to $567.  The look of the 9.7-inch iPad hasn’t changed in a couple of years, and it’s starting to show. The thick bezels around the screen seem somewhat antiquated in an age of edge-to-edge phone designs. The front 1.2-MP camera is ok for video calls, but don’t rely on it for snapping selfies or recording clips unless you have a good amount of ambient lighting.  Now onto the question would I recommend this? Yes I would. The A10 fusion provides lots of horse power for multitasking, playing games and running augmented-reality apps. The 8-megapixel camera makes a valuable tool when you’re a student working on a projects. So over all I would recommend this iPad for students.

Apple just announce the Apple Watch Series 5.  The headline feature for this model is the first-ever, always-on display. The new display will always show the time and complications. The new Apple Watch is also the first to include a built-in compass. Pricing will start at $399 for the GPS-only model. If you want the LTE connected model, it will start at $499. These prices are for the aluminum models. If you want a stainless steel, ceramic, or titanium model, the pricing goes up as you choose various options. Edition Series 5 starts at $799 for the new titanium finishes, gray ceramic did not return, and white ceramic comes in at $1,299. The new Series 5 runs on a new Apple S5 chip inside: 64-bit dual-core S5 processor, up to 2x faster than S3 processor (includes W3 wireless chip). The Series 5 includes 32 GB storage, up from 16 GB from previous models. Due to the always on display the battery life has gone down from full day (24 hours) to around 18 hours of use. Also due to the new always on display apple had to incorporate new technology meaning the price had to go up.   Now this series of apple watch hasn’t received to many updates from the series 4 due to the fact that there is no serious competition. So my recommendation for this new watch is if you have a series 4 or series 3 apple watch I would recommend not upgrading and waiting for a new series that has more serious features. Also if you looking to buy an Apple watch and don’t want to spend to much money I would recommend buying the older but still capable series 3 watch at a much cheaper price with most of the features this new series 5 Apple watch has.
